The rental fee includes:

  • Landscaped, manicured and decoratively lit midway grounds, exclusively yours…no other weddings would be held that day.
  • Access to the grounds for a rehearsal a day prior.
  • The stage and dance floor.
  • Tables, chairs and white linens (tablecloths and napkins) for up to 200 guests (500 capacity).
  • A large bridal room and a groom’s room, both with a/c and restrooms.
  • An event coordinator is available during set-up and throughout the wedding and reception.
  • Security, additional is extra if serving alcohol.
  • Lighted grass parking area.
  • You are free to bring any licensed caterer you’d like.


Use of The Grove for an extended rehearsal gathering or dinner is available for an added fee.

The Grove has available (for an added fee), a complete DJ and sound system with lighting which includes your play list and is able to take requests as well. The event coordinator is also included to do any M/C speaking that you’d like to have done…begin toasts, first dance, etc.

Taste the Tower

About Town Taste’s fun walking tour that looks at the hip Tower District packed with delicious local fare, interesting art and charming architecture.

This tour is the 4th Saturday
May to Sept.we add a Friday evening option too.

The Tower District is home to unique shops, cozy restaurants and live theater. Located along Olive Avenue starting at Roosevelt Avenue to the east, it extends north along Wishon and Van Ness avenues toward Fresno City College. The Tower, as it’s known to locals, also is the meeting spot for evening and weekend events.

By touring the city on foot, whether a visitor or a resident of the Central Valley, uncovers the hidden gems that you just don’t see driving by.

Our walking adventure is filled with art, architecture and food tastes woven with historic stories of our city. We take you inside historic buildings and include tastes at local restaurants!

The tour is about 2.5 hours long and some children have a limited attention span. Since there is a lot of standing and walking, please consider this when deciding whether the tour is appropriate for your child.

For those still not sure what we do….You will be guided on a walking adventure and receive food tastings at several stops
along the route. What exactly do we see/do/taste? Well, we don’t eat and tell!

The Security Bank Building, built in the 1920’s, will bring back memories for your older guests and help create new memories for you, your friends, associates, and family. Prices of our formal Ballroom include use of the Garden Room (between Kitchen and Ballroom), set-up of tables, and chairs for 497 people, stage, and set ups for bar areas for a six hour event. The caterer of your choice may use our Prep Kitchen. If you desire, we can arrange the catering for you with one of our preferred caterers. Also, you can rent chocolate fountains, center pieces, chair covers, chargers, props, and additional tables and chairs from us. Clean-up of the ballroom is included in the price. If you wish to have a wedding ceremony on site, there is an additional $500.00 charge, which includes an another hour of Ballroom use.

A $500.00 deposit is required to reserve your desired date. Please call us to arrange a tour of our facilities as soon as possible as the available dates are disappearing rapidly. We look forward to making your event memorable!

The Mezzanine

Our unique Mezzanine overlooks our beautiful Fresno Ballroom, where you can get a close up view of its intricate, gold gilded ceiling. This venue provides the perfect place for:

  • a private VIP party before the big event in the Ballroom
  • an area for taking photographs of the wedding party
  • an elevated point for taking your marriage vows
  • a location for the band during large events in the Ballroom

We allow couples to work with their unique schedule and budget with both mid-week and weekend rates and availability for their needs. Ceremony site fees include the following amenities.

  • Dedicated space for your event on the contracted date for a duration of 8 hours.

Wedding Planning & Pinterest

If you’re planning a wedding, you already know the Internet is a great resource.
There’s a new player in the online wedding game, and it’s quickly becoming one
of the most popular – Pinterest.

On Pinterest.com, you can grab photos from around the web and ‘pin’ them
onto ‘boards,’ meaning you can post the photos online, under your user name,
into categories of your choosing. You can also browse other Pinterest user
boards.

Many Pinners that are dreaming of their big day post boards dedicated to
weddings. The photos are often accompanied with comments, and can
include tips or instructions on how to create the look that was captured in the
picture. Like wedding forums, you can interact with friends or strangers to get
suggestions and ideas for your special day, but this time, it’s all centered around
pictures of your choosing.

Pinterest certainly displays boards for all the biggies like the gown, décor and
food. But Pinterest’s real strength is in highlighting the details. It’s on this site that
you’ll find inspiration behind your personalized napkins, the perfect photography
poses or an idea for ‘something blue.’ Those seemingly insignificant details will
make your day truly unique.

Like many online wedding hotspots, Pinterest runs the risk of overwhelming. So,
to get the most out of the site, make sure to be specific when you’re scoping out
ideas.

In the search box in the top left hand corner of the page, use as many details
as possible, such as ‘fall DIY wedding décor,’ or ‘cream wedding pumps.’ If
you’re not exactly sure what you’re looking for, it helps to at least separate your
searches into different categories, such as ‘wedding décor’ or ‘bridesmaids,’
rather than just a generic ‘wedding’ search.

It’s also a great place to see real photos from themed weddings, which can be
more difficult to find on other websites. If you’re planning something outside the
box, search for that specifically, such as ‘Halloween wedding’ or ‘Great Gatsby
themed wedding.’

That being said, Pinterest is also a great way to explore outside your comfort
zone. Whimsical, woodsy, DIY, rustic, vintage, elegant, chic, romantic and

couture are all popular words on Pinterest’s wedding pins. Even if you think those
adjectives wouldn’t apply to your big day, type them in and browse. You might be
pleasantly surprised!

Finally, if you’re serious about using suggestions from Pinterest, do your
homework. Each picture can be traced back to its original blog or website, so
when you find something you like and think you could apply to your wedding,
click through and take notes or bookmark the page. Otherwise, you’ll get lost on
the site and look up from your computer three hours later without any clear idea
on how to make your wedding nicer.

Pinterest is still in a new growth phase, so you’ll need an invitation to join if you
haven’t already. You can request an invite right at pinterest.com, with the red
button along the top of the home page, but you might be put on a wait list. A
quicker way to get on board is to reach out to friends that are already members,
and ask them to send you a personalized invitation.
