Chiffonos Bakery specializes in “chocolate wrapped” wedding and special occasion cakes, cupcakes and made from scratch desserts. They also offer organic Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting Company coffee, which is brewed by the cup when ordered in our specialty coffee bar.

What is a “chocolate wrapped” cake?

Chiffonos Bakery “sheets” white or dark chocolate into a thin layer (think wrapping paper) then “wraps” it around your cake. They can make it smooth or ruffled and can tint white chocolate to your event colors. They also make chocolate roses that can be added to your cake along with cut-outs like stars, hearts and polka dots. Please take a look at our pictures of chocolate wrapped cakes. About Chiffonos cakes
All of Chiffonos cakes are made from scratch on premises from recipes developed by Chiffonos. We use only the finest ingredients, like unsalted butter, real eggs, natural flavors and guittard chocolates. All of our standard cake flavors can be used for your wedding cake except fresh fruit fillings.

Chiffonos specializes in “chocolate wrapped” wedding cakes, this is an actual chocolate wrap and not fondant. Dark or white chocolate is wrapped around your cake to create a unique finish that tastes as good as it looks. The chocolate wrap can be smooth or ruffled and can be tinted to your wedding colors. Hand made chocolate roses are also available.

Placing your order
To ensure the highest quality, and because we bake from scratch, Chiffonos limits the number of wedding cake orders. 4-6 months lead time for your wedding cake is recommended.  Appointments for wedding consultations are available Monday – Thursday (evening appointments available), please contact the bakery for availability. A $50 non refundable deposit will hold your wedding date, with the balance due 10 days before your event.

Servings and prices

Wedding cakes come in many styles, like the classic tiered cake or the more modern stacked wedding cake. They can serve from fifty to hundreds of guests depending on your needs and style, sheet cakes can also be used. Our cakes are a generous 4″ tall and come in a variety of flavors, current pricing starts at $5.95 per guest for chocolate wrapped cakes and $3.95 for buttercream. The top tier is not counted in the servings, it is customarily saved for your one year anniversary. Delivery and set up charge is additional.

65 Servings – 6″, 8″, 10″ round layers
120 Servings – 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″ round layers
200 Servings – 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″, 14″ round layers

Square Cakes:

Wolf Lakes Park is a privately owned park founded in 1986. Wolf Lakes is located in the countryside just east of Clovis. With the foothills as their back-drop and the lake at their feet, Wolf Lakes Park offers a relaxing environment for their guests.

Along with the beautiful setting, Wolf Lakes provides full service catering as well as relaxing boat cruises on their 40 acre lake. In 1958, Ellsworth and Lillian Lewis, along with their children, returned to Central California after serving several years of missionary service in Africa. Ellsworth and Lillian returned with a rich appreciation for foreign travel and naturally gravitated towards incorporating travel into their life work. Within a year they opened the Lewis Travel Agency in the small community of Visalia, California.

Anchored by a commitment to provide superior customer service, Lewis Travel grew steadily over the years. In the mid 70’s, son Mark entered the family business and began a front line education that rapidly cemented an equally strong commitment to customer service. By the time full control of the company was turned over to Mark in the mid 80’s, he was already deeply entrenched in expanding the scope of Lewis Travel into the communities of Fresno and Clovis, California. Lewis Travel soon became one of the largest travel agencies in the area.

Major changes in travel industry dynamics during the 90’s opened the door to greatly enhance the position of Lewis Travel in Central California. From 1997 to 2006, several of the other largest and most prestigious travel agencies located in Fresno merged into the Lewis Travel organization. The marriage of strong, like-minded travel agencies gave rise to Lewis Travel & Cruises, Central California’s travel agency leader with annual sales of over $10 million.

In August 2010, Lewis Travel & Cruises became an ALTOUR company and, in so doing, became a part of one of the largest travel planning companies in the world.
