Celebrity Wedding Hair Styles

Celebrity Wedding Hair Styles
We can find inspiration anywhere and today we look to the stars for some celebrity wedding hair styles. Here are some of our favorites…

Kate Middleton had hairstylists James Pryce and Richard Ward create a classic half-up style to complement her diamond Cartier tiara. Strands of hair were pulled back from each side of her face and tucked into a bun, dubbed the demi-chignon. The rest of her tresses were worn down in long cascading curls.

Kate Moss chose a simple hairstyle which combined touches of vintage and romance for her country wedding to Jamie Hince. Hairstylist Sam McKnight styled her blonde locks in tousled waves, and a stunning Juliet cap-style veil made of woven lace and sequins completed the look.

At her wedding to Andrew Firestone, Ivana Bozilovic wore her hair off her shoulders and in a deep side part. After her hair was pulled into an off-center bun and pinned in the back, a few strands were left loose in the front to add a little extra shape. Actress Marisa Coughlan wore her hair curled in loose waves with half pulled up away from her face. Diamond clips were secured across the top of her head along with a veil. Marisa married Stephen Wallach on August 17, 2009.

Barbie Weddings Part 2 – Twilight’s Edward & Bella

It’s the moment Twilight fans the world over had waited years to see, from the moment it was first published by novelist Stephenie Meyer. Now, it’s been captured with two new dolls from the Barbie® Collector Spring 2012 Collection!

Relive the iconic wedding with Bella and Edward — a scene that fulfills the promise of their relationship and delivers a romantic climax to the Twilight series.

Edward, the eternal heartthrob, of course looks smashing in his tuxedo. But this is Bella’s ultimate fashion moment, and she is absolutely breathtaking. The long silky gown, inspired by the one she wears in the blockbuster movie, features a sheer draped back and beading that cascades from the neck and all the way down through the train.

Traditional Edward & Bella

The finer details have been captured, too. Bella’s wedding day hairstyle is the same as it is in the movie, and fans will especially love two accessory touches — the re-creation of her amazing wedding ring, and the addition of the blue hair clip, given to Bella by her mother for her “something old, something blue.”

Not only do their wedding garments evoke the costumes from the film, even the packaging echoes the timeless scene. When the boxes are displayed together, they form the wisteria-draped awning under which Bella and Edward swore an undying commitment to each other, come what may.

The Royal Wedding-Barbie Style?

Just in time for the royal one year anniversary, Mattel will release a commemorative royal wedding Barbie doll of both Kate Middleton and Prince William, reports MSNBC.

The dolls, which admittedly look more like Barbie and Ken than Catherine and William, have authentic outfits. Barbie Kate wears a floor-length, long-sleeved, ivory taffeta gown trimmed with lace and faux pearl buttons. It’s not exactly McQueen, but it’s a pretty close miniature version.

Prince William’s look-alike doll of course is a red uniform decorated with a royal blush sash, metallic cummerbund and golden buttons.

The dolls will be available for purchase in April, as a collector’s edition for $100 on BarbieCollector.com. These aren’t the first royal wedding dolls, but they are the first dolls made by Mattel. Mattel also makes bride and groom replicas of Edward and Bella, from the Twilight series.
